Russell's is a full-service garden center in the MetroWest area catering to both avid and casual gardeners. Russell's Garden Center offers a large selection of quality products in a creative, fun atmosphere. We aim to educate and enlighten people on how to enhance their environment while being socially responsible now and for future generations.

Spring 2019 Job Descriptions:


Russell's is now hiring for our Annuals, Perennials, Rose, Nursery, Houseplant, Garden Shop and Retail departments, with an emphasis on customer service.

 

All positions require excellent people skills with considerable public customer interaction.

Job duties include receiving, ticketing, display and sale of product.

 

Job Requirements for Spring 2019 positions, all departments:


Seeking personable and energetic applicants with a love of people and gardening. Previous knowledge or experience is a plus but a willingness to learn and GROW with us is equally important.

 

Special Position opened - Feb.1, 2019:

Part time floral Designer / Assistant

Looking for a friendly, outgoing person to Join our Flowershop team.

Ideally the candidate would have experience with everyday floral design, as well as knowledge of sympathy and wedding design. Good customer service skills are of the utmost importance. To communicate with our customers regarding their needs & wants, with an emphasis on listening to their vision / story is an important skill needed in our department.

Candidate should be able to work with little supervision at times and use their creativity, but also follow direction and expedite a plan.

Training in our shop is ongoing, must be able to work well with others in a small group setting, Hours would be 9-5:30 Tuesday, Friday & Saturday with extra hours required at major holidays,

Flexibility is very important due to the seasonality of our business.

Training would be considered for the right person who may lack experience
